Buckingham Palace Tour tickets are available again this summer. Buckingham Palace is one of the most famous houses in England and the world. It is the home of Her Majesty The Queen. The State Rooms are open from 1st August – 29th September 2010. Here you will see amazing treasures from the royal collection including amazing paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin and Canaletto; sculpture by Canova.
The Queen’s Gallery is Open all year round this is home to changing exhibitions of items from the Royal Collection, the wide-ranging collection of art and treasures held in trust by The Queen for the Nation.
The Royal Mews is open from 28th March – 31st Oct 2010 this is the stable of the royal family. it houses not just horses and carraiges but also motor cars used for coronations, State Visits, royal weddings, the State Opening of Parliament and official engagements. You can also see the Gold State Coach which was last used during The Queen’s Golden Jubilee in 2002 to carry Her Majesty and Prince Philip to the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
