Mutiny Bay is Alton Towers new pirate themed area
Alton Towers Resort has added a new themed area for the 2008 season. Mutiny Bay is a pirate based themed zone, which was opened on 15th March 2008, and is home to new alton towers rides.
New at Alton Towers for 2008 is the main attraction is the Battle Galleons, which is a water ride, which is suitable for all the family. There is eight Galleons which fire water at each other. The ride is ideal for the summer months as you are bound to get soaked when you go aboard it.Another ride is the Marauder’s Mayhem, Is a re fit of the classic Spinning cups but instead of cups and saucers it is spinning barrels of rum and lots of explosives going off.

They area also has rides for younger visitors called Rocking Heave Ho.
The zone is all kitted out in the pirate theme with shop signs and buildings in a pirate slant. There is also a new Muting Bay show also which looks very entertaining.
