Nickland Europe doubles in size
Movie Park Germany have announced that their Nickland Childrens area will double in size for the 2008 season.
Nickland was opened in April last year at Movie Park Germany, the only one of its kind in Europe. NickLand is the home to the nickelodeon channels favourite childrens character.
Characters that children can meet include Spongebob square pants and Jummy Neutron as well as the ever popular Dora the Explorer, and ride on exciting themed rides.
Movie Park are building on the hugely successful first season in 2007 when 5 Nickland theme rides were available. Riders included the Jimmy Neutrons roller coaster and water battle with SpongeBobs.
This year a further 8 attractions and rides have been added for the entertainment of both children and adults. The Nickland park will be increased in size to over 30,000 square metres.
New rides include Grand Carousel “Aviator” A water rail and several smaller child friendly attractions.
The “Aviator” is a kind of carousel ride with chains that while driving At 28 meters above the ground, the riders site between two wings.
Younger guests will enjoy the Dora Wild scuba diving ride. New roller coasters include “Wild Mouse” and “Rocket Rider”

Every child will be given a passport when they enter the country of Nickland!!! As they explore the land and take part in the different adventures they will get a stamp on their passport.
The extended Nickland is due to open in Early May 2008. Movie World has over 40 attractions and the park is already open.
